This inaugural SJTU workshop connected digital humanities, natural language processing, corpus linguistics, language studies, and neighboring human and social sciences. Ercong Nie co-organized the event, chaired the computational-linguistics session, and delivered the keynote “What Can Linguistics Bring to Large Language Models? From Semantic Representation and Multilingual Intelligence to Cognitive Mechanisms.”
